Looking For DanceSport Classes In Dubai ?

If you are ready to take your dancing to the next level, DanceSport might be ideal for you.

 

DanceSport is defined by the WDSF (World DanceSport Federation) as “the activity that combines sport and dance, and that allows the participants to improve physical fitness and mental well-being, to form social relationships and to obtain results in competition at all levels”.

 

A number of our students pursue dancing as a competitive sport, and we generally participate in 3-4 international pro-am ballroom dance competitions a year.

 

Pro-am competitions are where the student (the amateur) partners with his/her coach (the professional) to compete as a couple.

 

It may sound intimidating, but, as the competitions are organized according to skill levels (beginner, bronze, silver and gold), it is possible to start competing after a few months of training.

 

Generally, we encourage first-time competitors to attend the Crown Cup Dubai International ProAm Dance Competition, which is held in the UAE in February every year.

 

Non-local competition venues include Moscow, Rome, Barcelona, Lithuania, Dubrovnik, Bali, and many other exciting destinations!

 

Choosing to be a competitive dancer will enable you to develop your dancing skills much more, as your instructor will work with you to create routines, set goals, and develop a training plan for each competition.

 

At this level, dancing also become a much more demanding physical activity, and greatly improves fitness levels, core strength and flexibility.
