Salsa music sounds beautiful. It’s a melange of different Caribbean and Latina American influences and styles.
Closely related to Latin jazz and Cuban, salsa music has gone global since the mid-20th century. There are so many great salsa songs out there that it would be very difficult to objectively list the best ones.
We’ve tried.
What we ultimately came up with are two different and rather subjective lists:
One for beginners who want to learn the music and how to salsa dance
One ranking the most timeless salsa songs that pros and beginners can enjoy repeatedly
With no further ado, here are our favourite salsa songs, starting with the best songs for beginners.
